A message from the founder:
In April of 2006, after much prayer and consideration, I left my position with Morningstar Foods (Previously Dean Foods, and Ryan Foods) to spend more time with family and to pursue ministry opportunities. The one area that quickly began to make an impact was with my writing.
My career as a writer began in July of 2006 when I answered and ad for contributors for the Inspiration Page with the Livingston Ledger and other KPI newspapers. After a few weeks I also began emailing those each week to some of my friends and former business contacts. Later I began working full time in the newspaper business but still my focus was on my inspirational writing. While writing wasn’t what I had in mind for a ministry over two years ago, I have seen God’s move in peoples lives through my writing and feel it will continue to be a central focus for my ministry.
In the two years since I left Morningstar I’ll have to say that many things didn’t go as “I” had them planned. But I can look back and see where God has been leading and directing my life and has brought me in contact with many people who will prove to be instrumental in the furtherance of my ministry efforts.
I have recently felt the Lord leading me back into radio; some may remember hearing me on WWLK back in the early nineties. Radio is a wonderful medium where many people can be reached at any given time. As I began preparations to return to radio it has become obvious to me that now is the time to ask others to partner with me to form Live a Full Life Ministries. The backbone of LFL will continue to be a weekly column but with added support we will be able to add additional print and electronic distribution. Radio will play a large part in LFL to minister short to the point messages of encouragement and also to publicize our other ministry efforts.
While we will be using all forms of media such as; print, internet, and radio, I feel that my speaking ministry will focus primarily toward business and civic groups. I know that type of outreach may seem strange to some but I feel this is a direction the Lord has been leading me for some time and I will be able to benefit from my past business experience.
